Welcome to the home page of the Mount Laurel United Soccer Association, Inc. Mount Laurel United, an open organization based in Mount Laurel, NJ, USA, was created in 1996 as a self-funded, charitable non-profit organization, dedicated to providing the best possible facilities to area children for the development and enjoyment of soccer.

We are located in southern New Jersey, with 45 travel teams, 120 teams in our recreational program, and over 1800 participants. Summer Camps 2008

Summer camps, summer fun! Five weeks of summer fun right in Mt. Laurel! Camps begin June 23rd and run through the end of July.  Check out the camp offerings . This year we have a new way to register for camps, charge it or send a check.

Trotters practice field renovation

Trotters practice fields on Walton Avenue have been over-seeded. Please refrain from using the fields to allow the new seedlings to flourish. Thank you.

 

MLU & US Club Soccer

Congratulations to the MLU Crush u13G for winning the US Club Region B Tournament held in Pittsgrove, NJ.  The tournament was well attended by 8 of the top 20 teams in region.  The Crush played well, winning the tournament & going 5-0 over the weekend.  We wish them the best as they travel to Virginia Beach in late July to compete for the US Club National Cup

MLU Fire u17 girls, New Jersey National Champions

The u17girls MLU Fire won the coveted New Jersey National Championship State Cup. This past weekend, Saturday, May 17th the Fire meant Montclair Utd. Aristocats, last years u16 champions, for semi-final play at the College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ. The Fire came away with a 4-2 victory, sending them to the finals. On Sunday, May 18th the Fire meant the Arsenal Hawks , and brought home the big win, with a 4-3 victory! Congratulations to the MLU Fire team!

 

 

MLU Tornadoes u15 Champions

The U15G MLU Tornados won the 2008 NJYS State Cup on May 18th by defeating the Princeton Fusion 3-1 in an overtime thriller.  The Tornados had to overcome a 1-0 deficit at the half and through team work and sheer determination managed to knot the game up in the second half.   In overtime, the Tornados were able to put the game away through superior ball control, aggressive attacking and a defensive back four that could not be broken.  The Tornados have been a part of MLU for seven years, gradually climbing the ranks of SJGSL and now play in the JAGSPremier division of JAGS.  Congratulations Tornados!!  

MLU Comets u16 girls, Semi- finalists

The MLU Comets u16g , last year state champions, competed once again in semi-final play. The Comets held victory over the East Brunswick Rage, 4-0 on Saturday. The team gathered on the College of New Jersey fields again the next day. The Comets fought hard but the PDA girls came away with the championship title this year, with a solid 3-0 win. Thank you to the Comets for representing our club in National Championship competition.

 We are very proud of all our state cup competitors! Thank you to each and everyone of you for representing Mount Laurel United Soccer Association.

                            We wish our champions the best as they move onto regional play this summer.

                                   2008 FC DELCO  Memorial Day Tournament Results

     MLU Blast girls, Premier flight Champions! The Blast won their final game on Monday, at the nationally recognized FC DELCO Players Cup tournament. The girls gave up 1 goal in 5 games played over the weekend. The Blast girls,came out of the the semi-finals over the WCUSC Predators 1-0 and flew through the finals over Lehigh Valley Utd. 96 in a 1-0 game. Way to go Blast.

     MLU Jewels u12 girls , won their bracket in the Premier flight. They played through to the semi-finals against Parsippany PSC Lightning and lost 1-0. The Jewels came out at the top of the line-up, 4th out of 16 team in their flight. Way to go Jewels!

     MLU Flame u13 boys won their Premier flight bracket, placing them in the semis against Parsippany Gators. They won the semi- final game 3-1. The Flame went through to the finals, against the Rochester Junior  Rhinos losing 3-1.

     MLU Crush team represented MLU at the tournament as well, playing in the Premier flight.

    We thank all MLU teams for participating and representing the club.

 

 

Fall 2008 Recreation Soccer registration is open!

Fall recreation soccer online registration is open. We have opened registration earlier this year, so that everyone has a chance to register prior to summer vacations. Please click here to register online. The Youth development program is for the under 4, 5 and under 6 age groups. The recreation program is for U7 thru u18.

If your player celebrates their 3rd birthday, between Aug 1, 2007 and July 31st, 2008, they are eligible for the under 4 age group.

If your player celebrates their 4th birthday, between Aug 1, 2007 and July 31st, 2008, they are eligible for the under 5 age group.

If your player celebrates their 5th birthday, between Aug 1, 2007 and July 31st, 2008, they are eligible for the under 6 age group.

Olympic Development Program

Congratulations to the Mount Laurel United Crush (U13G).  Seven players from the MLU Crush made the New Jersey Final State Olympic Development Program (ODP) team for the 1994 and 1995 age group. 

Abbey Romano, Brittain Dearden, Erin Smith, Jessica Brownell, Julie Spracklin, Shannon Neary and Victoria Prager

We wish them all the best as they travel to the University of Rhode Island in mid-July to compete for the Region I team.

Jefferson Cup Tournament Results

The MLU Power won the U-14 Manchester Cup bracket at Jefferson Cup on March 29-30 in Richmond Virginia.  They beat teams from Virginia, Georgia and Pennsylvania to win their flight and then beat two New Jersey teams PDA and Wall Wombats in the semis and finals to take the Cup.  Having three out of four teams from New Jersey confirmed the strength of the state’s soccer program. Winning the bracket also qualified the Power for the Manchester United Premier Cup to be held in Oregon in May.

2008 Jefferson Cup Boys Weekend U10-U15 - Top 5 Nationally Ranked Premier Soccer Tournament Hosted by the Richmond Strikers Soccer Club. MLU boys U13 Flame team won their bracket at the Jefferson Cup on March 16th. The team had 4 wins and no losses. 2 shutouts and a PK winning final.  The Final game left the Flame victorious 4 to 3 over the Richmond Kickers u13 Elite.
 
 

Las Vegas College Showcase results for MLU Comets u16 girls

The MLU Comets went 3-0-1.to win our bracket.
Only team to not give up a goal in the tourney and had highest point total of all
teams in U16 age group.  Way to go Comets!

The Comets played and won against the 11th ranked team in country

 

Mt. Laurel United is extremely proud to be New Jersey's 1st TOPSoccer program. US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by Mt. Laurel United Soccer Association volunteers. The program is designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, who has a mental or physical disability. Our goal is to enable young, area athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the US YOUTH SOCCER family. For registration information click on the logo.
