Mt. Laurel United is extremely proud to be New Jersey's 1st TOPS program. TOPS (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a USSF program that is designed for kids with disabilities who would like to learn to play soccer and have fun.
Children with special needs, ages 5 to 12, from any township, can participate. Beginners welcome! Games are played on Saturdays starting on September 18, from 9:30 am to 10:45 am (Tentative dates are: September 18 and 19, October 2, 9, and 23 and November 6 and 13). Moorestown Friends School has again graciously offered their facilities for this program. Moorestown Friends School is located on 110 East Main St., Moorestown, NJ.
MLU trainers run the TOPS sessions and experienced soccer players act as "buddies" for the disabled TOPS children, providing one-on-one support.
Ronald McDonald House Charities have provided sponsorship funds, so there will be no cost to players for the Fall 2004 season.
